We were delighted to receive planning permission for our design to extend and extensively reconfigure a detached, 4 bedroom family home in Haslemere, Surrey.

Our design replaces an existing uPVC conservatory with a new two storey extension featuring a timber framed gable. All living accommodation will be reconfigured into an open-plan layout and extended to benefit from the property’s south-westerly garden setting and views. A new master bedroom suite with balcony forms part of the new first floor accommodation and will provide shading for the extensive new ground floor glazing whilst mitigating light pollution of the bordering SDNP and Dark Night Skies Reserve.

Replacement Crittall style glazing throughout and new matching sliding doors have been permitted, redefining the existing elevation. A new double-height entrance gable with feature staircase in conjunction with a new double carport and parking layout will further transform the access and approach to the property.

Energy improvements to the existing building envelope and a new heating system will upgrade the property’s energy performance considerably.
