We are delighted to have completed the detailed design for the transformation of this detached, 1970s,  5 bedroom family home. Our design completely restructures the interior of the house with a new central atrium space and feature metal staircase, together with a new glazed front extension, which will deliver much needed light into the deep-plan building. The building approach will be sympathetically modernised and enhanced by a new font extension that houses a new cloakroom and double height, Critall glazed entrance hall.

The building envelope will be upgraded with new glazing throughout and replacement tile hanging. Window and door positions and proportions will be adjusted to maximise daylight into the rooms and views onto the garden to complete the remodelled interior layout. The newly configured living room amalgamates previous cellular rooms into one open plan layout with a new coved ceiling to support the new ambient lighting concept and a new fireplace surround with polished plaster finish as the focal point.

Our new interior design includes bespoke furniture design which applies the traditional concept of parquet and mosaic flooring with a contemporary engineered timber by Plexwood. The stunning, pre-assembled timber panels will clad a feature hallway wall, complete with pocketed sliding door to the kitchen and will also be used for the majority of furniture pieces for the master bedroom ensuite and living room.
